- all medication should be demonstrated fully in advance
- inhalers are usually used around 10 minutes before play as in any other form of excercise
- make sure you have a spare inhaler too
- in the case of severe problems, where a nebuliser is available, use as previously instructed
- i.e. a soft ball held in the hand to be dropped in emergency (of coure this will be dropped if the sufferer becomes insensible)
- stop play, something is going wrong. Evaluate if the simple stopping and care will be enough or whether medical advice is needed
